41-Year-Old ID'd As Victim Of Weekend's Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The Westchester man died when his motorcycle left the parkway Easter weekend. Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Westchester County police have identified the victim in this weekend's fatal motorcycle crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway.

Westchester County police said David Douek was traveling northbound when the 41-year-old crashed near the Eastchester-New Rochelle border at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday .

Police said the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail near the New Rochelle Road Exit. Police do not believe that any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Douek was pronounced deceased at the scene. The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by the Accident Investigation Team and detectives from the General Investigations Unit.
