5-Year-Old New Rochelle Boy Chokes to Death, Police Say

The incident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Friday morning

New Rochelle police are investigating what officers say appears to have been the accidental choking death of a 5-year-old boy.

The incident occurred in an apartment at 345 Main St. at about 1:30 a.m., as the boy was eating some noodles, reports News 12 Westchester.

Emergency medical personnel tried to revive the child before transporting him to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
