50+ Pounds Of Pot Seized After Traffic Stop: PD
Police said they found two large laundry bags in the trunk of the car.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A Massachusetts man was accused of having more than 50 pounds of pot in his car. Westchester County Police said Simon Huang, 22, of Boston, Massachusetts, was charged Tuesday with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony.
Police said Huang was driving a Lexus sedan north on the Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle when he was stopped for a traffic violation around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Weaver Street.
While speaking with the Huang, the officer detected an odor of marijuana in the back seat of the vehicle.

An investigation found two large laundry bags in the trunk containing 54 pounds of marijuana contained in 46 separate heat-sealed packages.
Huang was booked at county police headquarters in Hawthorne and held overnight pending arraignment Wednesday in New Rochelle City Court.
