62-Year-Old Killed In Overnight Shooting On Main Street: NRPD
Officers who went to help a man found on the ground in a downtown parking lot, discovered that he had been shot more than once.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police have opened a homicide investigation after a 62-year-old-man was found shot to death on Main Street early Thursday morning.
Patrol officers found the victim on the ground in the parking lot of Juliano’s Caterers at 700 Main St. just before 3 a.m. When the officers went to help the New Rochelle man, it became apparent that he had two gun shot wounds, according to investigators. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No arrests have been announced in connection with the killing. The name of the victim is still being withheld.
