9 NY Restaurants Among Nation’s Top 100
Hudson Valley residents are just a Metro-North ride away from six of them.

It’s not just the food that makes a great restaurant. It’s the ambience, too.
The people at OpenTable combed through more than 10 million diner reviews to reveal the Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in the America, nine of which are in New York.
And the beauty of it is, folks in the lower Hudson Valley are just a Metro-North train ride — and then maybe a taxi or subway trip — away from six of them.

The closest is the storied Red Rooster Harlem, helmed by Chef Marcus Samuelsson which features such American cuisine as Fried Yardbird, Charred Pork Chop and the Ol’ Man’s Shrimp & Grits.
The list showcases winners in major metropolitan areas as well as resort towns in 25 states.

“This year’s winning restaurants are pulsing with energy from both diners and the eateries’ atmospheres, creating an infectiously energetic dinning experience,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer.
“If you’re looking for a spot where fun is always on the menu, look to one of these honorees,” she said.
