Celebrity restaurateur and cookbook author Sabrina Rudin -- owner of Spring Café Aspen and New York -- was the centerpiece of the Cocktails & Conversation event held at Monroe University’s Dining Lab in New Rochelle. Rudin, who is currently on a national tour to promote her new cookbook “Healthy with a Side of Happy,” sat down with author Amy Bass for a wide-ranging conversation about her approach to food and the challenges of balancing her busy life with making time to cook healthy meals for her family. The event was presented by the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation.

The Dining Lab --Monroe’s critically- acclaimed student run-restaurant -- has been described as a “training ground for students” by The Wall Street Journal, and the culinary team did not disappoint, preparing and serving recipes from Rudin’s cookbook for guests to sample.
