• Tall tree crushes cars in New Rochelle, neighbors say they felt impact (news12.com) — A large tree came crashing down onto several parked cars along Hudson Park Road in New Rochelle Sunday morning, shaking nearby apartments but fortunately injuring no one. Traffic was reduced to one lane as Con Edison checked power lines and building staff began clearing debris so vehicle owners can see how badly their cars were damaged.
