Early Voting Set To Start In In Westchester County: Primary 2026

All registered voters enrolled in the Democratic party are eligible to vote in the nine-day early voting period ahead of Election Day.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Early voting will open for the 2026 primary election on Saturday. Here's what you need to know.

There will be a nine-day period where voters can vote in-person before Election Day in Westchester County. All registered voters enrolled in the Democratic party are eligible to vote.

There is a primary contest at the state-wide level for New York State Comptroller.

Some Westchester County voters will also select nominees to represent the party in general election for:

The early voting period will run be from Saturday, June 13, 2026 through Sunday, June 21.

Voters can cast ballots at any of 25 designated early voting sites throughout the county, including:

The Joseph G. Caputo Community Center has been replaced with St. Ann's School this election cycle.

The voting centers will be open until the Sunday prior to Election Day.

  • Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Monday, June 15, 2026 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, June 19, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Voting during early voting is the same as voting on Election Day. When voters get to the early voting center, they will check in to vote, receive their specific ballot, and vote as any other election.

    Voters casting ballots during the early voting period are not eligible to vote on Election Day.

    Early voting results will be canvassed and reported after 9 p.m. on Election Day.

    Registered voters in Westchester County may also apply for an early mail ballot.

    If a voter is out of Westchester County, or is permanently or temporarily disabled, ill, or is the primary caregiver for one or more people who are ill or physically disabled, or a resident of a Veterans Hospital, or detained in jail awaiting Grand Jury action, or incarcerated for an offense other than a felony, they may apply for an absentee ballot.
