• New Rochelle School Principal Put on Administrative Leave, District Names Acting Principal (talkofthesound.com) — Ward Elementary families in New Rochelle will start the school year with Assistant Principal Keren-Hapuc Gonzalez serving as acting principal, after Principal Franco Miele was placed on administrative leave for undisclosed reasons. The Board of Education also approved Jenna Vaccarelli as assistant principal and is finalizing another acting assistant principal, signaling broader leadership changes at the school.
