This week, we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
The New Rochelle Street Fair is back! Working in partnership with the New Rochelle Parks and Recreation Department, volunteers are needed to set up the street fair, designate vendor spots, assist in the vendor and entertainment check-in area, direct vendors to their designated parking, and welcome guests. Help make this one of New Rochelle's most memorable community events!

Help prepare raw wool for use in various farm products at Muscoot Farm. Volunteers will be carefully cleaning, sorting, and removing any debris from the wool to ensure that it's ready for the next stage of processing. This role is perfect for volunteers 15+ (or 10+ as part of an adult's volunteer team) as well as those who enjoy hands-on work and want to learn more about the traditional craft of wool processing.
Date: 9/20 and 9/27 from 12-3 p.m.

Meal Delivery Drivers for Scarsdale Seniors
Meals on Wheels of Scarsdale is seeking friendly volunteers to help deliver prepared meals to seniors throughout Scarsdale. Volunteers are especially needed for Wednesday mornings. Meals are picked up between 9:30 and 11 a.m. at the Scarsdale Congregational Church and then delivered to 4-8 clients at their houses or apartments. Each delivery shift takes only about 30-60 minutes each week. Volunteers must be 18 if driving; volunteers who are 14-17 may sign up as part of an adult driver's team.
