New Rochelle, NY – November 7, 2011 – Sound Shore Medical Center (SSMC) is pleased to announce the inclusion of 14 of its physicians in the recent “Top Doctors” issue of Westchester Magazine.
Once again this year the healthcare research firm Castle Connolly conducted their rigorous, peer-review process to identify the Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area. With the completion of the exhaustive process, Westchester Magazine has showcased the 187 physicians in Westchester chosen by the experts as Top Doctors for 2011. Westchester Magazine commented, “One of the many advantages of living here is that some of the best medical minds anywhere live among us and practice here.”

Dr. Rangraj reported on performing bariatric surgery on three generations and six individuals in one family, while Dr. Zelicof spoke about his Bionic Man – a 78-year old who has had double hip and knee replacements as well as shoulder replacement surgery and has returned to his position as kicking coach for a high school football team.
