Annual 9-11 Remembrance Vigil Readied In New Rochelle
In New Rochelle, the United Veterans Memorial And Patriotic Association Of New Rochelle will host the solemn event.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — All around the Hudson Valley, people will be taking the opportunity Monday to remember the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001. Flags on state government buildings will be flown at half-staff on Sept. 11 in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 men, women and children who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.
In New Rochelle, the United Veterans Memorial And Patriotic Association Of New Rochelle will hold its Annual 9-11 Candle Light Vigil Remembrance on Monday, September 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 8, located at 112 North Ave.
The evening of remembrance, song and prayer will honor those who were killed 22 years ago. The vigil will honor our first responders, victims and and military volunteers.

The vigil will include local religious leaders, NRFD, NRPD, veterans and a special guest speaker from theTunnel to Towers Foundation.
A musical interlude will be performed by Jules Fang. All are welcome.
