Annual Thanksgiving Parade To Kick Off In New Rochelle
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 55th annual family event.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Chamber of Commerce of New Rochelle is hosting the 55th Annual Thanksgiving Parade Saturday, Nov. 17. The Grand Marshall will be Frank Miceli, the former chamber president and owner of Minuteman Press in the North End of New Rochelle.
Miceli will lead the way with Mighty Mouse which is sponsored by United Hebrew, the largest private employer in New Rochelle which is celebrating 99 years of business.
The 2,000 marchers include bands from Iona College and New Rochelle High School and many other schools, Westchester organizations and businesses.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. on North Avenue in front of New Rochelle High School and continues down North Avenue until it turns onto Main Street and continues for several more blocks.
As always, the parade ends with Santa Claus making his entrance on one of New Rochelle's fire engines.

Before the parade, the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser will be held by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence at New Rochelle High School from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 per person. For more information, visit www.nredfund.org.
