Beach Club Parking Valet Arrested After Slashing 2 Co-Workers: Police
New Rochelle police said a dispute among parking attendants turned violent late last night. One person needed emergency surgery.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A dispute between valet parking attendants at a New Rochelle beach club turned violent overnight, with one worker arrested and two others rushed to the hospital.
Wednesday night, at about 11 p.m., New Rochelle police were called to a reported stabbing in the parking lot at the V.I.P. Country Club on Davenport Avenue. Officers found two people wounded at the scene. One had a laceration to his back and another was stabbed in the abdomen. Both were rushed to the hospital.
The person who was stabbed in the stomach was taken into surgery and is currently listed in critical condition. The person who was slashed on the back was treated and released from the hospital.

New Rochelle police tracked down and arrested Elijah Santiago where Davenport Avenue dead ends at the water. The 25-year-old from New York City was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The names of the people stabbed are being withheld by police.

Santiago and the people who were stabbed were all working as valets at the club. The stabbing appears to have stemmed from a dispute between Santiago and his co-workers, police said.
