Summer is made for beer. A new report says these summertime brews should be in your cooler.

Summer and beer go together like summer and barbecue. Not just any beer though. Have you peeked at the forecast for the next couple of months? It’s going to be warm. This means guests are going to want a refreshing alcoholic beverage when you invite them over for a barbecue, so why not choose a nice summertime brew?

Luckily, the good folks over at Popular Mechanics compiled a list of the best such brew in every state.

New York’s best summertime brew is the Brooklyn Bel Air Sour, the report said.

"This softly tart and fruity wheat was inspired by the original 'champagne of beers,' the tart Berliner weisse," Popular Mechanics said.

If that doesn’t suit your fancy, the report listed Suarez Family Palatine Pilsner and Other Half Brewery Forever Ever as honorable mentions, either of which could certainly be worthy additions to any proper Summer get-together.
