Do you have a craving for fried chicken, deli sandwiches or a tasty wrap?  Then perhaps paying a visit to Chicken Joe's on North Avenue in New Rochelle is the way to satisfy your hunger.

The self proclaimed "home of the High School special," this local favorite features all sorts of delicious combo meals that won't empty your wallet but will leave your stomach full.

Whether it is their "High School  Special" where for $6 you get a 1/2 pound of nuggets, fries and a drink, or their "Goddaughter Special" featuring 1/4 pound of nuggets with corn fritters.

Chicken Joe's also sells fried chicken by the piece, barbecue specialties such as ribs and seafood delights like their baked clams or fried calamari.

Also you will find an extensive breakfast menu from sandwiches to omelets.

This eatery has become legendary when it comes to the students at nearby or . 

One former student wrote on yelp.com that, "it was dangerous living and attending college down the street from Chicken Joe's. Those potato cones? That seasoning? Honestly, someone help my arteries. The damage cannot be undone, but it's always worth it. "
