Bites Nearby: Grill Point Restaurant

Here's this week's choice:

Grill Point Restaurant is a Glatt Kosher restaurant that specializes in both classic deli sandwiches and Israeli-style meats and kebabs.

The restaurant has garnered a local following not only within the Jewish community of New Rochelle, but with other locals who find a craving for healthy pitas, hot appetizers and an extensive deli menu from corned beef to chopped liver.

Grill Point offers catering for up to 80 people at their restaurant or they will deliver their platters to you. In either case, Grill Point says that their highest priority is customer satisfaction.

One review from yahoo.com speaks about the service saying that at Grill Point, "you get exactly what you ask for right away even thought they're so busy. The food is amazing and the workers are friendly. When we go there I feel like im eating with my family in my own house. That's how warm they are."

Hudson Valley Metro Mix suggests customers "get a taste of Israel with falafel on pita bread, lamb and turkey shawarma, hummus, shish kabob and a variety of salads."

With deli sandwiches in the $8-$11 range and plates of Lamb and Turkey Shuwarma or Kabobs starting at $15.95, Grill Point attempts to deliver quality food at moderate prices.
