Bloody Scene In Luxury Residential Tower Lobby May Be Linked To Domestic Violence, Police Say

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Early morning violence at a downtown luxury residential tower left a man fighting for his life, according to authorities.
The New Rochelle Police Department says that on Wednesday, around 6:33 a.m., officers responded to The Leaf residential tower, at 12 Church Street, after receiving a report of a possible stabbing.

Once at the scene, police found a 31-year-old man with a puncture wound to his upper thigh.

After being treated at the scene for significant loss of blood, he was taken to the hospital, where he had surgery. Police say that he is currently listed in stable condition.
