Burke Rehabilitation Exhibit To Open At Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital
The patients featured in the exhibit have demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination and courage.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital are proud to announce the opening of the Faces of Burke exhibit at The Queen City Art Gallery at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12. Faces of Burke is a traveling photography exhibit designed to showcase the individuality and courage of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s patients. The compelling photographs and stories of the subjects illustrate a diverse and inspiring group of patients who have succeeded in regaining mobility and independence through their experience at Burke.
“We are pleased to bring this exhibit to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, which, like Burke, is a member of the Montefiore Health System. The gallery at Montefiore New Rochelle is an ideal place where the photographs can be viewed by new audiences,” said Jeffrey Menkes, president & CEO at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. “The patients featured in the exhibit have demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination, and courage that can inspire all of us.”
The installation is the first in what both organizations see as a long line of collaborative projects that showcase the innovative and creative work being done every day throughout the Montefiore Health System.
