Buy MetroCards Monday in New Rochelle

The MTA and county employees are staffing a van where MetroCards can be purchased at various locations around Westchester. The van visits New Rochelle today.

Need a convenient way to buy a MetroCard or perhaps to add trips to one you already have?

The full-service MetroCard van will be visiting area locations—including New Rochelle—to assist riders who want to purchase MetroCards.

The van is staffed by MTA New York City Transit Authority and Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation employees, and is equipped so that riders can buy a regular MetroCard, apply for a reduced-fare MetroCard if they are 65 and older or have qualifying disabilities and even refill their existing MetroCards.

MetroCard is the automated regional fare collection system managed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and is used on the Bee-Line bus line in Westchester. The Bee-Line Hotline can be reached at 914-813-7777.
