Friday, July 4, beginning at 10:30 AM. Our traditional Independence Day celebration, featuring a reading of the Declaration of Independence and tolling, 13 times, of the St. Paul’s colonial era church bell. There will also be refreshments and talks. Carla Lynne Hall and Jim Keyes will perform early American music selections. Keynote speaker will be journalist & author Ian Frazier, whose recent book "Paradise Bronx: The Life and Times of New York's Greatest Borough" has been awarded the prestigious Gotham Book Prize.
