Closures Planned on Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle, Scarsdale
Maintenance crews will be in the area for several days.
The left lanes of the northbound side of the Hutchinson River Parkway, between Exit 16 (Webster Avenue) and Exit 22 (Mamaroneck Road), will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Thursday, June 4, through Tuesday, June 9, the state Department of Transportation announced.
The closures, which are scheduled for maintenance activities, will affect portions of New Rochelle and Scarsdale, and motorists may experience delays. Work will be conducted weather permitting.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
