Coastal Flood Statement Issued For Southern Westchester For Friday
The chance of flooding coincides with high tide tonight.

SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — A Coastal Flood Statement has been issued for the coastal areas of southern Westchester by the National Weather Service. The timing will coincide with high tide between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday.
The amount of tidal departures will be 1/2 to 3/4 feet, the NWS said.
Impacts include localized minor coastal flooding resulting in brief flooding of the most vulnerable shoreline and waterfront roads and properties.
