Coastal Flood Statement Issued For Southern Westchester Tuesday

Minor coastal flooding is possible during high tide.

SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Coastal flooding is possible Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. A Coastal Flood Statement is in effect until 3 p.m. Tuesday, the NWS said.

A few locations may approach or just reach minor coastal flooding thresholds around the time of high tide Tuesday afternoon.

The NWS said most tidal departures will be 1 foot.
