Coastal Flooding Possible Monday During High Tide

Tidal departures will be between a half foot and a foot and a half.

SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Coastal flooding is possible Monday, according to the National Weather Service. A Coastal Flood Statement is in effect until 1 p.m. Monday, the NWS said.

A few locations may approach or just reach minor coastal flooding thresholds around the time of high tide late Monday morning into early afternoon.

High tide is expected to occur between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The NWS said most tidal departures will be between one-half and one-and-a-half feet.
