Coastal Flooding Possible Monday In Southern Westchester

The timing could be around the high tide cycle.

A Coastal Flood Statement is in effect for southern Westchester County Monday. The National Weather Service said there is the possibility of localized minor coastal flooding. Also there is a high rip current risk at the Atlantic beaches.

Tidal departure could be around 1 to 1-1/2 feet above astronomical tides.
