Coastal Flooding Possible Monday In Southern Westchester

A Coastal Flood Statement has been issued for southern Westchester Monday. The National Weather Service said the statement applies to vulnerable locations along western Long Island Sound.

Tidal departures could be 1/2 to 1 foot above astronomical high tides.

The flooding could occur during high tide cycle later Monday morning into early Monday afternoon.

Impacts include brief minor flooding of the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline.
