Come Play Mini Golf Inside The New Rochelle Public Library

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Ever wonder what it's like to play mini golf inside a library? Here's your chance to find out.

The New Rochelle Public Library announced that it will double as a mini golf course this Saturday. The public is invited to drop by to play a round of golf anytime between 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The library will also be open for business as usual during 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The fun activity was made possible through the support of the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation. The course, which will be set up by a professional mini golf company, will wind through the stacks on all three floors of the library, up and down stairs, and around clever traps.

"We look forward to the community enjoying this added attraction to the Library this weekend," Library Director Tom Geoffino said. "We hope everyone will take advantage of this opportunity to see the Library in a new way as they play the course, and then stay around to enjoy everything else the Library offers."

Hungry mini-golfers will be able to purchase food from Tacos El Carrito, which will be set up outside the library. Patrons can also visit New Rochelle downtown restaurants, many of which will be offering specials during New Rochelle Downtown BID’s Restaurant Appreciation Week taking place March 10 - 17.
