County Closes Sound Shore Beaches Because of Heavy Rain
The amount of rainfall determines whether the beaches will be shuttered.
Tuesday’s heavy rain forced the closure of 11 Sound Shore beaches.
The Westchester County’s Department of Health shut down the beaches for 48 hours, lohud.com said.
Closures are determined by the amount of rainfall.
