Craig Carton To Be Arraigned Wednesday
The former sports radio host was charged with wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Breaking his silence since he was pulled off the air in the wake of being accusing of involvement in an alleged Ponzi scheme, Craig Carton, a New Rochelle native, said keeping his mouth shut has bee extraordinarily frustrating because he is so used to offering his opinion on the popular “Boomer and Carton” radio show. Carton was arrested in September for deceiving investors and raising millions of dollars through misprepresentation and lies, according to acting Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim.
Carton and two others were charged with wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy.
He will be arraigned Wednesday and will plead not guilty, the Journal News said.

Carton ended up resigning from WFAN, where he did the radio show, saying that the legal issues he faces will be a distraction to everyone.
