Delays On Metro-North Monday Morning
Slip-slide conditions near the Harlem-125th Street station are the problem.

All three Metro-North lines are facing delays Monday morning into and out of Grand Central Terminal. The railroad said slip-slide conditions exist and are causing up to 20-minute delays on the Hudson and Harlem lines and up to 25 minutes on the New Haven Line.
Falling leaves that land on the running rails of the tracks get run over by trains and compacted into a slime-like substance that prevents the trains from stopping normally.
