The Lazarus Gallery at United Hebrew will host an opening exhibit reception for "Hooked on Art: A Collection of Hooked Rugs by the Hudson River Rug Hookers" on Mar. 6 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. The exhibit will be on display until May 11.
"The Lazarus Gallery of United Hebrew of New Rochelle, a campus of residences and services for older adults, will present a new exhibit of contemporary hooked rugs from the Hudson River Rug Hookers group. Rug hooking is considered both an art and a craft and The Hudson River Rug Hookers have embraced the art of rug hooking using new methods and new materials."
