Nanny Assis, who has been named “Best Male Brazilian Performer” by 2010 Brazilian Press Awards, will perform Samba, Bossa-Nova, Baiao, and Brazilian Jazz standards with his trio. The musicians will be joined by two costumed professional Samba dancers who will teach participants their moves, starting at 6 p.m. on the Library Green. Live music begins at 7 p.m.
In case of rain, this event will be held in the Ossie Davis Theater.
