15 year old pianist Phuong Nghi Pham will perform a program of classical music by Max Reger, Lizst and Beethoven at the Ossie Davis Theatre.
Originally from Vietnam, Phuong Nghi Pham began learning how to play piano at the age of 5, and has won many prizes in competitions ever since, including First Prize in the Yamaha Cup in 2004.
Pham is currently a student at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, and was "the first recipient of the John C. Holtz Ambassador Award from the concert’s co-sponsor, The Max Reger Foundation of America, a nonprofit organization that helps musicians fulfill their dreams and goals."
