Sheldrake Environmental Center is proud to acknowledge individuals whose efforts are in line with its mission to inspire environmental awareness and action in the community, and to preserve and protect local environmental resources. For its upcoming Spring Benefit, Sheldrake will have the pleasure of honoring individuals who are making a difference. “We are thrilled to be honoring individuals who are effectively raising awareness of environmental issues in our community,” said Holly Moskow, Executive Director.
Honorees include:
Gail Boyle, Principal of Chatsworth Avenue School, who has been a leader in bringing numerous environmental initiatives and educational opportunities to the elementary school community. Notable efforts include an Eco-footprint program, a school garden, training opportunities for teachers and the creation of an outdoor classroom.
