A knife-sharpener will be there on the first Saturday of every month, including opening day, so bring your scissors, shears and more.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Farmers Market in downtown New Rochelle opens for the season June 1. And it's going to be bigger than ever.
The expanded market will offer local fruits, organic greens, artisanal breads and cheeses, pickles, home-made desserts, locally-roasted coffee, hand-crafted soaps, pasture-fed meat, and fresh cut flowers from local farms at the Sprig Flower Truck.
There will be market food preparation demonstrations and a knife-sharpener will be there on the first Saturday of every month, including opening day. Live music and special events for children ensure a fun time for the entire family.
