Farmer's Market Coupons Now Available To Qualifying New Rochelle Seniors
The coupons can be used at both the Friday New Rochelle Farmer's Market and the Saturday Grand Market.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Seniors looking to stretch their food budgets this summer and fall may be entitled to discount Farmers Market Coupons. To be eligible, individuals must be 60 years of age or older and have a monthly income at or below $1,860/single, $2,504/couple, $3,159/three-person household or be 60 and older and currently receiving or eligible to receive SSI, Public Assistance or Section 8 housing subsidy.
The checkbook-style coupons will be distributed while supplies last through Sept. 30, 2017, at the Hugh Doyle Senior Center, 94 Davis Avenue, in New Rochelle from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Proof of age and New Rochelle residency are required. Applicants must come in person to sign an affidavit.
The coupons are valid at the New Rochelle Farmer’s Market, located at Huguenot Park every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at the Grand Market, Library Green every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through summer and fall to Nov. 30, or sellout.
