A former New Rochelle schools superintendent murdered his wife and then killed himself in North Carolina.
The bodies of James and Josie Gaddy were found Friday night, according to an article on lohud.com.
Police determined that James Gaddy shot Josie Gaddy four times in the back of the head in their Pinehurst, NC, home. It was determined James Gaddy waited about 48 to 72 hours before shooting himself once in the chest.

James Gaddy served as the New Rochelle High School principal from 1969 to 1985, after which he became the district’s superintendent.
He retired in 1991, and he and his wife moved to North Carolina.
