Friends of New Rochelle Library Book Sale Sept. 11-12

Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library will hold its monthly Big Book Sale sale on Friday, Sept. 11-12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., organizers announced.

On sale will be a wide range of hardcover and paperback books, CDs, dvds, and more.

The Friends will also be holding Mini Book Sales on Saturday, Sept. 19 and 26, and every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These Mini-Sales are in place of the Friends Book Store hours.

The executive board of the Friends of the Library, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, coordinates the book sales with the assistance of other Friends’ volunteers. Money raised from book sales are used to underwrite the Library’s extensive public programs. The Friends welcome prospective volunteers.
