Fundraising Site Set Up For Family Of Valerie Reyes
The body of the New Rochelle resident, who had been reported missing, was found in a suitcase on the side of the road in Connecticut.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A fundraising campaign has been started to help the family of the 24-year-old New Rochelle woman whose body was found in a suitcase on the side of a road in Connecticut.
Valerie Reyes was reported missing by her family Jan. 30. Her body was found Tuesday inside a suitcase about 15 feet from Glenville Road just north of Stillman Lane in Greenwich, Connecticut.
She was found around 8:15 a.m. by a Greenwich highway department worker

Reyes was clothed and her hands and feet had been bound.
The Go Fund Me page, which has raised almost $14,000 in less than 24 hours, has a goal of $20,000.

The organizer said, "Our heart is broken for the unfortunate and tragic loss of Valerie Reyes. We want to show our love, support and condolences to the Reyes family. Besides showing emotional support, we are asking friends and family to share and help them out with costs to lay her to rest. All donations big or small are appreciated and helpful. Let's keep the Reyes family in our prayers during this difficult time."
