Girls Inc. of Westchester Gala Pays Tribute To NewYork-Presbyterian
"Strong, Smart & Bold," hosted by News 12's Tara Rosenblum at the Glen Island Harbor Club honored the medical group's "sustained" support.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A group that has supported girls in the community, in ways both easily recognized and behind the scenes, took time to give a special thanks to those that have supported their efforts.
NewYork-Presbyterian was recognized at the Girls Inc. of Westchester "Strong, Smart & Bold" gala on Thursday, April 18, at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, for their collective and sustained efforts over several years to support the organization.
Laurie Walsh, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of NYP Westchester accepted the award on behalf of representatives of all three campuses. 1111 Westchester Avenue was among the over 450 attendees.

Other honorees at the gala, hosted by News 12's Tara Rosenblum, included Joan Bluestone Landorg, the Business Development Leadership Coach at Halo, and City of Peekskill Mayor Vivian C. McKenzie.
Girls Inc. of Westchester, an affiliate of the 160-year-old nonprofit Girls Incorporated, provides programs and support to girls ages 9-18 to help them develop critical thinking skills, avoid at-risk circumstances, overcome challenges, and envision their potential.
