Gopuff Instant Delivery Service Launches In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Those who live in New Rochelle and nearby towns now have a convenient new way to avoid fighting traffic, finding a parking space and waiting in line for everyday essentials.

Gopuff, a nationwide instant delivery service, has announced it’s now available in New Rochelle. In addition to New Rochelle neighborhoods, the new on-demand delivery service will be available in Eastchester, Larchmont, and everywhere in between. Customers can order their everyday essentials and have them delivered in as little as 15-20 minutes.

Gopuff is unique in that it owns the inventory customers purchase and stores the products in micro-fulfillment centers it owns and operates in each market it serves. In part because of this model, Gopuff is able to deliver to customers faster and cheaper, charging a flat delivery fee of $1.95.

The first Gopuff distribution center opened in White Plains last year.

Gopuff announced this month that it will be giving away 200,000 free at-home COVID-19 tests to customers nationwide through February 15. The company said demand for COVID-19 test kits on Gopuff soared 10,000% from pre-omicron levels and test kits remain one of the top essential items customers are searching for on the platform.

To receive a free at-home COVID-19 test from Gopuff, first-time customers can simply add any at-home COVID-19 test kit to their cart. Existing Gopuff customers can add any two at-home COVID-19 test kits to their cart, and one will automatically be marked free at checkout.

With the launch of service in New Rochelle, Gopuff is hiring full- and part-time employees to work in the fulfillment centers.
