Heat, Humidity Coming Back; Advisories Issued
Dew points will be in the lower 70s, making temps in the high 80s and low 90s feel much hotter.

The heat is back. Hopefully you enjoy the past few days with the lower humidity and milder temperatures.
All that is off as of Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories for the mid- and lower Hudson Valley.

For western Columbia, eastern Ulster and all of Dutchess counties, the heat advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Monday.
For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, the heat advisory is in effect from noon Monday to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Heat index values for the region will be in the mid-90s to around 100, due to temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
The dew points will be in the lower 70s.
The combination of heat and high humidity levels pose a significant risk for heat stress or other heat related illnesses particularly to those most vulnerable.
