Holiday Tree, Menorah Lighting Scheduled in New Rochelle
The free event is sponsored by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The annual tree and menorah lighting in New Rochelle will take place Thursday, Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, the free event will be held at Memorial Plaza, Main Street and Memorial Highway, in the downtown area.
As usual, members of The Songcatchers will kick off the festivities, and Santa will make an appearance escorted by the New Rochelle Fire Department.

Organizers said hot chocolate and sweets will be donated by Alicia’s Bakery.
