Holy Family School No Longer Being Considered For Alternative HS
New Rochelle school officials said the Archdiocese of New York withdrew the facility from consideration.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The recently closed Holy Family School is no longer under consideration by the New Rochelle school district to become the site of the new alternative high school campus. District officials announced Wednesday the Archdiocese of New York said it was not available to be leased.
Holy Family School, which is a short walk from the New Rochelle High School campus, was a late entry in the search and district officials said it was disappointing that it was taken of the table, the Journal News reported.
The Alternative Campus High School is designed to provide about 80 students will a small, supportive setting in which they can pursue a high school diploma.

The archdiocese announced July 9 that it was closing nine of its schools in the Hudson Valley, including Holy Family School, as a result of the new coronavirus pandemic.
