Iona College Announces Graduate Commencement Keynote Speaker
The NBC News anchor and correspondent will be given an honorary doctor of humane letters degree.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The keynote speaker for Iona College’s graduate commencement ceremony has been announced. NBC News anchor and correspondent Kate Snow will address the graduates at the ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19 in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Snow is the anchor of “NBC Nightly News” on Sundays and an award-winning senior national correspondent for NBC News. Her reporting appears on NBC News and MSNBC, including “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt,” “Today,” “Dateline NBC” and “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.”
From 2015-17 Snow also anchored a weekday news program on MSNBC which features newsmakers and political coverage.

Snow will be awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters degree during the commencement ceremony.
“It’s an honor to welcome Kate Snow as Iona’s commencement speaker,” said Iona College President Joseph E. Nyre.
