Iona College Beginning Spring Break Early
The New Rochelle college says there are no confirmed or suspected cases of the new coronavirus on campus.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Iona College, which is located in New Rochelle, announced it will begin spring break four days early, canceling all in-person and online undergraduate and graduate Arts & Science classes effective at 10 p.m. Monday, March 9. The college said staff and administrative offices will remain open.
There are no known or suspected cases of the new coronavirus — COVID-19 — at Iona at this time, officials said.
The college said all internal activities and events planned for on the campus between Tuesday, March 10 and Monday, March 23 will also be canceled.

Residence halls will close early at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10. Students who are unable to leave at that time must contact Residential Life to work out alternative arrangements. For more information, go here.
