'Jews in Colonial New York' New Exhibit at the Paine Museum

The opening reception is Sunday.

The opening reception for a new exhibit, Jews in Colonial New York, at the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum will be held on Sunday.

New Rochelle resident Sara Zimmerman, a museum volunteer and graduate student, created the exhibit and will be on hand to comment. Light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome.

The project took Ms. Zimmerman several years to produce, and the panel includes an easy-to-read timeline that is a history of Jews in colonial New York from 1650 to 1780 with special attention to the American Revolution.
