“Right now, things look pretty great… and that’s thanks to the jet stream dipping to our south…,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather, speaking about the Fourth. “That will do 2 things… first, it forces any unsettled weather to our south. This serves to keep the Hudson Valley dry… and generally free of clouds. It also allows cool, dry, Canadian air to filter into the region. That means low humidity levels! So be prepared to enjoy a couple days of afternoon highs near 80°… and very comfortable humidity.”

All in all not a bad weather forecast for the holiday weekend. Enjoy the time with family and friends and be safe!
