Letter to the Editor: In Support of Mayor Noam Bramson

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Mayor Noam Bramson for re-election.

Noam has helped lead New Rochelle through a recession that halted many of the City’s development plans over the last few years. With the slow economic recovery starting to improve, I believe his vision for the downtown revitalization is essential to our success in New Rochelle.

Personally, I live near the Nature Study Woods and have had some issues including the use of handguns in the Woods. Once my neighbors and I alerted Noam to the issues, swift action was taken to secure the Woods, our homes and our property value. I know that when an issue detrimental to the community and/or its residents is raised to Noam, thoughtful and prudent yet quick action is taken. I’ve experienced it time and time again, and it gives me confidence and comfort that I can raise my children successfully here in New Rochelle.

I believe Noam to be a true leader – one who cares and believes in the residents of New Rochelle and our power as a community. He has the right vision for our future and I encourage you to consider him seriously for your vote.
